Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo was pleased with his players for their 5-0 friendly defeat of Novara.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored the first goal, before Aaron Ramsey, Marko Pjaca and a brace by Manolo Portanova made it five against the Serie C side.
“We are trying various solutions," Pirlo told Sky Sport Italia after the match. “In the first half, we played with four at the back, it becomes three in the different phases.
“In the second half, we stayed with three, preparing different solutions."
Pirlo also admitted he needs a new attacker 'as soon as possible'.
“The team must have it [enthusiasm], the lads are getting used to the new type of work, they have fun.
“I need an attacker as soon as possible, but the market is long, it will last until the start of October, we have time to work."
