Juventus coach Max Allegri was happy with their victory over Monza for the Trofeo Berlusconi.

Filippo Ranocchia and Sweden international Dejan Kulusevski struck Juve's goals for the 2-1 win.

“Kulusevski has potential, but he needs to improve a lot," the coach told Sport Mediaset.

“After all, he's only 21 and has to be more determined in front of goal, much more effective when attacking the goal. He shouldn't always go for the inside of the foot or try placing it, sometimes you need to put your foot through it."

On Fagioli, Allegri also said: “He came on and had a good second half, he was active, clean and I saw progress. We'll evaluate with the club what to do.

“These are young players who lack experience, they sometimes feel ashamed of kicking the ball away, but you have to do that sometimes during a match situation. We need to teach them some of the tricks of the trade."
