Juventus coach Max Allegri says AC Milan are the team to beat this season.

Juve kicked off their Serie A campaign tonight against Sassuolo.

Allegri said: "The club has worked very well, it has replaced those who have left.

"Juve have had a great season. Our name is Juventus, we came from 9 years of victories and we have to win every year? It's not like that. There is a generational change, what was said last year is repeated. Everyone interprets things as he wants: if things are clear, we say it's right. Otherwise we say wrong stuff.

"It's very simple. You have to have the humility to accept the situation. We scored 10 points less than Milan, I don't count those after fourth place, mentally we gave up.

"With patience and work, we will get there. Last year we started with the duty to aim to win. Then a bad start... it's another championship, we have a duty to aim to win, knowing that other teams have done better than us.

"It must be a motivation, try to do better than the others. It's very simple. You have to be practical in life."
