Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene has revealed Paul Pogba's return to Turin is edging ever closer, with negotiations over a free transfer nearing completion.

Pogba left Manchester United at the end of the 2021/22 season ahead of the expiry of his contract, and 90min understands he has agreed to a four-year contract back at the club he left for Old Trafford in 2016.

There are still some details that need to be ironed out before the deal is complete, though, including image rights and other commercial aspects.

However, speaking to Tuttosport, Juventus CEO Arrivabene revealed talks were progressing 'very, very well'. Indeed, sources have told 90min the free transfer should be complete by early July.

“We are talking to him, things are progressing very, very well," Arrivabene said.

"How did the idea come about? In those meetings, names are mentioned, like that of Vlahovic who later arrived. You open the door, throw a name and everyone looks at you like crazy; then, little by little, the machine starts up and the operation is built. Pogba was born this way.
