There were plenty of first-teamers in action as Juventus beat Rijeka 1-0 in another warm-up for their start of the second half of the Serie A season on January 4th.
Here’s what went down.
Scorers: Kean 73′
After a 2-0 win over Premier League leaders Arsenal in London, Juventus hosted Croatian side Rijeka on Thursday afternoon.
Wojciech Szczęsny, Arkadiusz Milik, Filip Kostić, Nicolò Fagioli and Weston McKennie were all given a 45-minute run out before being replaced in the second half.
After a goalless first half, Moise Kean put the home side in front with a delicate chip over the goalkeeper which he followed in and poked home just to make sure.
The goal signalled another swap as Max Allegri withdrew Kean and Locatelli shortly afterwards.
Juventus host Standard Liège on December 30th before they kick off again in Serie A with a home fixture against Cremonese.
