Juventus have booked their ticket to the Coppa Italia quarterfinals with a superb showing in a victory against Cagliari at home.
Scorers: Vlahović 44', Koopmeiners 53', Conceição 80', González 89'
It was a timid opening 45 minutes from Thiago Motta's side, but they were bailed out by Dušan Vlahović, who showed off his fox-in-the-box ability by turning and firing home the opener.
Juventus continued to find life after the break as well, and the lead was doubled in style thanks to a tremendous free-kick from Teun Koopmeiners.
While Cagliari did have a few chances to pull themselves back into the clash, they were undone by a well-taken Francisco Conceição goal in the dying minutes, who was dangerous all throughout the second-half.
The nail in the Cagliari coffin came just before stoppage time when Nico González marked his return to the team with a superb chipped goal for Juve's fourth of the night.
Juve will not take on Empoli in the quarterfinal as they aim for a 16th Coppa Italia triumph.
