Talks between Manchester United and Adrien Rabiot have slowed down despite the Red Devils already having an agreement with Serie A side Juventus.

Gianluca di Marzio has provided an update about Rabiot’s talks with United regarding a potential personal terms agreement and he has stated that talks have now slowed down because of the Frenchman’s rather high demands for a wage at Old Trafford. He also remains unconvinced about the idea of joining United as a destination because of the club’s absence from the UEFA Champions League.

As a result, Juve’s permanent move for Leandro Paredes is also at a standstill. But even if Juve don’t end up selling Rabiot, they could yet try to sign the Argentine midfielder on a loan deal this summer.

The Bianconeri are also waiting on a move for Memphis Depay, who is yet to terminate his contract with Barcelona but Juve feel that the move will be done and it only a matter of days.
