Juvenil A v Atlético de Madrid: derby clash in Youth League last 16

The club's Juvenil A side tonight return to UEFA Youth League action three months on from their last outing in the competition as Hernán Pérez's charges face Atlético Madrid in a one-legged round-of-16 derby clash at the Alfredo Di Stéfano (9pm CET). Should the Juvenil A team prevail, they will meet the winners of the tie between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund in the final eight on 15 or 16 March.

The madridistas have reached this stage after having topped a group that saw them lock horns with Inter Milan, Shakhtar Donetsk and Sheriff Tiraspol. Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid finished as group runners-up, behind Liverpool, with a record of three wins, one draw and two defeats. The Rojiblancos saw off Hajduk Split in the play-offs.
