As Real Madrid begin their final preparations for the game against Real Sociedad on Friday night, there are two key absences from the training session.

Real Madrid will be locking horns with Imanol Alguacil’s side on Friday night in La Liga following their 3-2 win over Barcelona last weekend.

With the La Liga title almost secured there are likely to be changes made to the starting XI. However, Carlo Ancelotti might well be without two very important players for the match.

Indeed, according to Guillermo Rai, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo Goes are not in training with the rest of the Real Madrid squad due to physical ailments.

Bellingham, the leading goalscorer for Real Madrid this season, is suffering from gastroenteritis, which has led to him sitting out of training today.

As for Rodrygo, the report states that the Brazilian forward is down with the flu, leading to his absence from training.

There is no concrete information about whether they will be available to face Real Sociedad tomorrow or not, although it is likely that Ancelotti would have rested the pair against La Real.

Ferland Mendy is another player who is expected to sit out of tomorrow’s game after missing training on Thursday, with the expectation being that he will be ready to face Bayern Munich next week.
