Unlike Liverpool, Arsenal are still giving a tough fight to Machester City for the Premier League title. After punishing Chelsea, the Gunners registered a much-needed 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur to keep the hopes alive.

Mikel Arteta’s side are at the top of the the domestic points table with 80 points after 35 games. The best thing they can do is win all their remaining three games and pray the Citizens drop points. Arsenal will next lock horns with Bournemouth this weekend.

Defence

Goalkeeper David Raya didn’t have the best of nights against Tottenham Hotspur. However, he is likely to keep operating between the sticks for this game too. Right-back Ben White has been in terrific form and there is no doubt over his selection.

The centre-back duo of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes also remains untouched. They have done well apart from a few games in this season. Jurrien Timber has recovered from ACL injury and is likely to make his comeback but not as a starter. Takehiro Tomiyasu should keep his position as the left-back ahead of Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Mikel Arteta wouldn’t want to alter anything in the midfield. Hence, the trio of Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, and Thomas Partey should continue in the middle. They will like to command the game and help the team secure three crucial points.

While Kai Havertz continues to play in the middle, Bukayo Saka is an undisputed pick for the right flank. Leandro Trossard is also expected to start on the left flank despite his poor display in the previous game. It means both Gabriel Martinelli and Reiss Nelson will start on the bench yet again.

The Gunners have no fresh injury concerns and will have all the senior players available for this clash.
