Roma coach Ivan Juric says Italy debutant Niccolò Pisilli will have a ‘great career’ if he keeps working hard without being overconfident.
The 20-year-old midfielder, a product of the Roma academy, scored his first Serie A goal in a September game against Venezia.
His convincing performances in the capital have helped him earn his first Italy call-up for the October break.
Pisilli made his senior Italy debut last week in a 2-2 draw against Belgium at the Stadio Olimpico.

“You fall in love easily. He’s young, he must grow, and he comes from an intellectual family. He’s also a little intellectual,” Roma coach Juric told Corriere dello Sport.
“He is calm and serene. He thinks and has a talent that I had never seen in young players like him. He has a clear perception of things from the first touch. If he continues like this, working hard without being overconfident, he’ll have a great career.”
