Juric proud of team effort in spite of difficult circumstances: “I have experienced players who adapt fast.” | OneFootball

Newly appointed Roma boss Ivan Juric addressed the difficult circumstances his team had to operate in as they beat Udinese 3-0 today.

The Croatian technician spoke to DAZN after the game and praised the team’s performance.

“They did well, we worked a lot on the kind of game I want them to play. They are players who have always done this and so it sticks in their heads. There are others who didn’t play today, when you completely change something they struggle more. It’s normal.”

“In the second half we dropped a bit in intensity and ball possession, we need to work a bit on the concepts I want us to implement.”

“In the first half we played high up the pitch, we were aggressive and well positioned, but we need to improve certain positions when you go to win the ball. But I have experienced players who can adapt quickly.”
