Jurgen Klopp drops fitness update on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Anfield Watch
The games keep on coming for Liverpool with Premier League duties set to resume this weekend after a brief EFL Cup excursion this week.
The Reds sealed their place in the EFL Cup final at the expense of Arsenal on Thursday night, and can now look forward to a Wembley trip to face Chelsea at the end of February.
For now, though, focus must be on Crystal Palace as the Reds head to London once more on Sunday, and it remains to be seen if Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is involved.
Jurgen Klopp said this on the midfielder:
Oxlade-Chamberlain had a good game on Sunday against Brentford with him getting a goal before rolling his ankle and having to come off.
It sounds as though it was only a minor issue, though, and he could be in contention this weekend.
Certainly, it would be nice to see him get the chance to pick up from where he left off last time out in the league.
