Juninho Bacuna offers reaction to key Birmingham City moment in Blues victory over Hull City | OneFootball

Birmingham City midfielder Juninho Bacuna has said he is confident with both feet after scoring a long range effort for the Blues against Hull City on Saturday.

Troy Deeney had given John Eustace’s side an early lead from the penalty spot, but it wasn’t until Bacuna’s long-range effort that all three points were sealed at the MKM Stadium.

Talking through his thought process when taking the strike, Bacuna has revealed that he is confident on either foot, and doesn’t think too much about it before striking the ball.

“It was a good ball from Chong and when I got the ball, I got one against one and because of the run of Hannibal he created space to go onto my left.” Juninho Bacuna explained to Blues club media.

“I was just thinking shoot and it was a good hit.

“I am confident on [my] left or right. First-half I also had a chance on my left.

“I don’t think about it, it is just where the ball is, I will just take it.”

The strike helped Blues to back to back victories in the Championship, taking them to 12th in what is looking an incredibly condensed division at present.

The club are just three points outside the playoff places, for example, but also just six points above the drop zone.
