U19 player Julian Rijkhoff is leaving Borussia Dortmund and moving to Dutch top-flight outfit Ajax with immediate effect. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.

The 19-year-old joined BVB from the Ajax U17s in January 2021. He has since scored 37 goals in 38 appearances in the A-Junior Bundesliga West and twice finished as the top scorer for coach Mike Tullberg's U19s. Rijkhoff twice reached the final of the German A-Junior Championship and won the title with the U19s in the 2021/22 season. The striker scored 13 goals in 24 appearances in the UEFA Youth League.
