FC Bayern were made to settle for a third successive 1-1 draw on Saturday. Leroy Sané put the record champions ahead at the Allianz Arena, only for Eintracht Frankfurt to level in the second half through Randal Kolo Muani. "We played well in the first half, but it was more erratic in the second. Frankfurt made it difficult for us to create chances. They were very compact," explained Bayern forward Thomas Müller. "There's a lot we could be doing better, especially in terms of how quickly we move the ball," admitted head coach Julian Nagelsmann. fcbayern.com rounds up the reaction...

Reaction from the Bayern camp

Julian Nagelsmann: "We started well, we had a good presence about us. After that, we were just a bit too slow in all areas of our game. We had two or three chances to make it 2-0. For their goal, it was just a catalogue of errors - we had ample chances to clear [the danger]. The draw's a fair result, though we'd have liked to have won. There's a lot we could be doing better, especially in terms of how quickly we move the ball. We play with a big gap between our defence and the opposition's first defender - in this case, Kolo Muani. When teams defend deep, it's difficult. In the end, it wasn't a great performance from us. It's not a good run of results."

Thomas Müller: "The attitude and setup was decent enough. We set out to break the dam. We played well in the first half, but it was more erratic in the second. Frankfurt made it difficult for us to create chances. They were very compact. We're top of the table, but our lead's been cut. Obviously we're not happy after going three matches without a win, but it shouldn't have a negative effect going forward."

Matthijs de Ligt: "We always want to win and we had chances, but just didn't take them. Then Frankfurt scored with a quick counter. It was a good performance in the first half, but we have to play that way for the entire game. We also had good chances in the second half. We didn't always counter-press effectively. We have to do better. We're FC Bayern - you can't draw three games in a row."

Reaction from the Frankfurt camp

Oliver Glasner (Eintracht Frankfurt head coach): "The draw's a fair result, and I'm happy. We were bolder and more systematic in the second half. In the first half, we had a few difficulties with long balls, like with the goal. Overall, the boys were magnificent."

Sebastian Rode (Eintracht Frankfurt captain): "You can only be completely satisfied if you win. We played well, were compact and barely gave anything away in the second half. There was definitely more in it for us if we'd have done better with our counter-attacks, but it would be arrogant to say we deserved to win."

Randal Kolo Muani (Eintracht Frankfurt forward): "It was an intense game. We came here to get a result. That's what we did, so we can be happy. Defensively, we were very compact."
