Bayern Munich head coach Julian Nagelsmann has reportedly been left impressed by four young players during the club’s pre-season preparations.
With several senior players taking longer holidays following their Euro 2020 involvement, opportunities have been handed out in training and early summer friendlies.
According to Kicker, Nagelsmann was excited by Josip Stanišić, Armindo Sieb, Christopher Scott and Torben Rhein during fixtures against FC Köln and Ajax.
Sieb scored against FC Köln but impressed in both games, Stanišic and Rhein both featured in midfield for the Bundesliga champions.
There is also potential for Scott – usually a midfielder – to be transformed into a right-back option like Tyler Adams was at RB Leipzig.
It remains unclear whether these players have been earmarked for first-team opportunities or loans.
