Youngster Julia Landenberger will spend next season on loan at RB Leipzig. The 19-year-old joined FC Bayern in 2021 and extended her contract until 2025 in January of this year.
Bianca Rech, head of women's football: "It's important for the next step in her development that Julia gets a lot of game time in the Women's Bundesliga. We're pleased that Julia was able to find a good setting for her continued development in promoted team RB Leipzig."
In January Julia Landenberger extended her contract with FC Bayern until 2025.
Landenberger moved within the women's second division from SC Freiburg II to FC Bayern Women II in 2021. The defender has been training with the first team since last year and made her debut in the FLYERALARM Women's Bundesliga in February 2022 in the home match against SC Sand.
The Germany U19 international has also featured for the Reds three times in the UEFA Women's Champions League already and scored the final goal in the 4-0 win over FC Rosengård last December. Overall Landenberger has made 41 appearances for FCB Women's first and second teams.
