Huddersfield boss David Wagner believes that Jürgen Klopp is overplaying his side’s injury crisis ahead of their game on Saturday.

The Reds go to Yorkshire in the late kick off looking to maintain their place at the top of the Premier League table.

The Anfield outfit are yet to lose a game this season but come against a struggling Terriers side with a few injury doubts.

Naby Keïta will almost certainly be out after picking up an injury on international duty, whilst Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk will be assessed ahead of the match.

Wagner though, doesn’t think his old friend should be too concerned.

“I have known Jurgen long enough, I know he loves to use smoke screens,” the 47-year-old told the Liverpool Echo.

“I expect that most of his players will be available.

“I have known him long enough and he likes to moan after the international break!”

It will be a meeting of two mates at the Kirklees this weekend, with Wagner actually being Klopp’s Best Man at his wedding.
