Jude Bellingham responds to Real Madrid fan gesture during Celta Vigo clash | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has taken to social media on Sunday evening, to send a message of thanks to the club’s supporter-base.

This comes after the Blancos faithful sent their support the way of the Englishman during their latest outing.

Real marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Celta Vigo to the Spanish capital for a La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, on the back of two outings without a win, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops got things firmly back on track, courtesy of an eventual 4-0 romp.

The aforementioned Bellingham, however, played no part.

As much comes with the 20-year-old having sat out the first of the two-game ban handed down to him for his protests on the back of Real’s stalemate with Valencia last time out.

And yet, ahead of proceedings getting underway at the Santiago Bernabéu, it was the name of Bellingham which took its place centre stage in the chatter surrounding Sunday’s clash.

This comes after a section of Real Madrid fans unveiled a banner, showcasing their support for the club’s beloved midfield starlet.

And, post-match, Bellingham has moved to make clear his appreciation for as much.

Taking to his official ‘X’ account, the former Borussia Dortmund talent reposted a photo of the banner dedicated to him at the Bernabéu, alongside the caption:

“My club, thank you for the love!”
