Speaking to Sport Bild, Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn was asked whether the Bavarians are interesting in signing Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

Kahn made the club’s stance clear: “Of course, I think Bellingham is an excellent player. However, with [Joshua] Kimmich, [Leon] Goretzka, [Marcel] Sabitzer and [Ryan] Gravenberch we are very well occupied in this position, so we are not thinking about it at all.”

This came after Bellingham has been linked with a host of clubs including Liverpool and Chelsea in recent weeks.

The 19-year-old is currently worth €90m, per Transfermarkt, and has a contract that is valid until 2025. This season he has played in all of Borussia Dortmund’s games and in the absence of Mats Hummels and Marco Reus, captained BVB for the first time. The England international is set to do so again in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The last player to move between the two clubs was Hummels who returned to Dortmund from Bayern for €30.5m in 2019 after initially leaving the club in 2016.
