He has signed a six-year deal, cementing himself as a key part of the midfield revolution alongside Aurélien Tchouaméni (23) and Eduardo Camavinga (20).

The England international will be presented to fans on Thursday.

Bellingham has blossomed for both club and country, notably impressing at the Qatar World Cup in December, where he scored for England in their win over Iran.

In his first season in Germany, he became Dortmund’s youngest goalscorer in a competitive match and the youngest Englishman to start a Champions League fixture.

In 2022/23, he often wore the captain’s armband and won the Bundesliga Player of the Season award as Dortmund finished behind Bayern Munich on the final day.
