Juan Otero’s was Club América’s final transfer of the winter window as the Eagles finally filled their giant hole on the right-wing.
In an interview with TUDN, Otero claims he’s about to play pressure-free football because all eyes aren’t necessarily on him.
“I’m calm, I live for this. I’m a player who works hard and always tries to do things well, so no pressure, I didn’t arrive as a figure,” explained Otero.
“But, I’m going to help the team a lot, I’m going to do very well on the wing.
Otero strongly believes that América are the biggest club in Mexico and recalled all the times he’s previously had to face the Eagles.
“It’s a big club that you have to have a lot of respect for, especially regarding the history they have. The other teams are always motivated to beat América.”
Otero is in line to make his official debut this weekend when the Eagles face San Luis.
