Milan have reportedly decided against activating a clause to extend Luka Jovic’s contract, so the Serbia international will leave San Siro after two seasons.

Serbia international Jovic won’t be part of the 2025-26 Milan squad.

According to Gazzetta, the Serie A giants have decided against activating a clause to extend his contract to 2026.

The clause expired on June 20, so Jovic will formally leave the Rossoneri at the end of his contract on June 30.

Jovic joined Milan from Fiorentina for €500,000 in the summer of 2023 and has never been a regular starter at San Siro.

His best moment at the club came just a few months ago, when he scored a brace in a Coppa Italia second-leg semifinal against Inter, contributing to a 3-0 victory that sent the Rossoneri to the Final.

Jovic has scored 13 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions with the Rossoneri.

According to Gazzetta, the 27-year-old could continue his career at Cruz Azul or Botafogo.
