AC Milan have not yet made a bid for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, it is claimed, though he is appreciated by Stefano Pioli.

Milan were persistently linked with a move for Milenkovic throughout the summer window but eventually seemed to move onto other targets having been priced out of a deal for the 22-year-old, though they did not end up signing a centre-back before the mercato shut.

TMW recently reported that Milan have made an offer for Milenkovic ahead of the January window consisting of a two-year paid loan of €10m and an obligation to buy set at €30m – a payment method ‘imposed by the current economic situation’.

According to journalist Marco RamicciaMilan have not made an offer yet for Milenkovic despite the fact Pioli would love to welcome the Serbia international into his plans.

Agent Fali Ramadani wants to engineer a move for his client but the situation is blocked by the fact Fiorentina have set high demands, and there is no way a two-year loan offer for a player expiring in 2022 would be accepted.
