Bayern Munich have shown interest in Xavi Simons, but right now he only wants to join Chelsea according to reports.
The Blues have been locked in negotiations with RB Leipzig for a number of weeks, but are yet to submit an official offer for Simons.
Chelsea have identified Simons as a player they want to add to their attack, and he would be an excellent addition given he can play both on the left and as a number ten.
RB Leipzig are believed to want a total package of £60m for Simons, whilst Chelsea are thought to want to agree a deal for around £50m.

Chelsea are said to need to make some sales in order to create space for Simons in the squad, and they are working hard on finding new clubs for both Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson.
Whilst the Blues are trying to offload players, there’s a risk that the longer it takes, the higher the chances of a hijack are, and journalist Kieran Gill has provided an update.
He took to X.com and said:
“Bayern Munich have shown interest in Xavi Simons but told RB Leipzig player only wants Chelsea right now.
“#CFC still working on getting sales over the line.”
It’s likely that the departure of Nkunku will unlock the Simons deal for the Blues, and Bayern Munich have now opened talks for the Frenchman.
