Liverpool clashed heads with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they focused on securing a result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds made a quick start to the game as they scored the opening goal in the 17th-minute courtesy of Mohamed Salah’s excellent finish. However, Julian Alvarez equalised for the home side just ten minutes later as the two sides went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.

Kevin De Bruyne completed the turnaround for the home side in the 46th minute before Ilkay Gundogan got his name on the scoresheet just seven minutes later. Jack Grealish put the icing on the cake for the Mancunian side in the 74th minute as Jurgen Klopp‘s Liverpool crashed to a poor 4-1 loss away from home.
