Having been close to a transfer last summer on his return from a loan spell at Bordeaux, Wolfsburg midfielder Josuha Guilavogui is now set to leave the Bundesliga permanently at the end of his contract this summer.

According to L’Équipe, the Frenchman has attracted interest from Saudi Arabia – specifically, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr. Two Turkish sides – Beşiktaş and Adana Demirspor – are also thinking about making a move for the seven-time senior French international.

The Saint-Étienne youth graduate, who will have spent a total of nine seasons with the German club following a brief spell at Atlético Madrid, is considering his options. This past campaign has seen him make 21 league appearances, chipping in with one goal as the team currently sit in 6th place with two games to go. The 32-year-old will have made over 250 appearances in total for Wolfsburg, notably lifting the German cup in 2015. During his short-term loan back in Ligue 1 with Bordeaux last season, he was unable to prevent the club from suffering relegation, with Les Girondins finishing rock bottom.
