José Mourinho gets his man: Sevilla star to sign for Fenerbahçe this week | OneFootball

A headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga outfit Sevilla has agreed to take his talents to Turkey, with Fenerbahçe.

That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Youssef En-Nesyri as the player in question.

Frontman En-Nesyri, for his part, has long been expected to bring the Sevilla chapter of his career to a close this summer.

This comes as the Nervionenses seek out much-needed funds for reinforcements elsewhere in the club’s squad.

A whole host of sides from across the continent, in turn, have been tipped as potential landing spots for the Moroccan international.

The week to date, though, has seen a clear frontrunner emerge in the race.

After En-Nesyri made clear his willingness to try out a new experience in Turkey, José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe kicked talks with their Sevilla counterparts up a notch.

And, as alluded to above, this weekend, such discussions have borne fruit.

As per a report from Relevo’s Matteo Moretto:

‘Youssef En-Nesyri is one step away from a move to Fenerbahçe. The plan is for him to travel to Türkiye tomorrow to sign with Fenerbahçe.’
