Jose Mourinho confirms injury blow to key Tottenham star ahead of LASK clash

Harry Kane ruled out of Tottenham’s Europa League clash against LASK

Speaking in his press conference, as reported by Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Harry Kane has been ruled out the club’s UEFA Europa League clash against LASK. However, the boss claimed that the Englishman could be available for the derby against Arsenal at the weekend.

The 27-year-old Kane has been one of our best players this season, leading from the front with his goalscoring and creative abilities.

Concerns were raised when the England captain missed training on Tuesday, along with some of his teammates including Carlos Vinicius, Erik Lamela and Sergio Reguilon. And Jose has confirmed that none of them will be able for the trip to Austria but expected everyone except Lamela to be fit for the derby against Arsenal. (h/t Sky Sports)

“All injured. Lamela is an injury that comes already three weeks, a month – something like that, and I don’t believe he has a chance for the weekend. Harry, Vinicius and Sergio there is a chance for them to be [back] for the weekend.”

Kane’s injury will certainly raise alarms, more so considering that Vinicius will also miss the game against LASK. It will be interesting to see who gets the nod as the centre-forward against the Austrian outfit on Thursday night.
