Tottenham manager José Mourinho and his staff have reportedly been ‘blown away’ by summer signing Sergio Reguilón.
Reguilón joined the club this summer for €30m after impressing on-loan for Sevilla, although Real Madrid do hold a buy-back option in the deal.
According to Mail Sport, the 23-year-old continues to impress with his performances and smooth adaptation behind the scenes.
The Spain international has already established himself as first-choice left back ahead of Ben Davies and the exiled Danny Rose.
“There was a broad market but as soon as I heard of Tottenham’s interest, it was simple,” he told Sky Sports this month.
“It was a big deal to leave my country, my league and my family, but it has worked out well.
Tottenham have made a promising start to the 2020/21 Premier League season, and face Brighton on Sunday.
