José Juan Macías made his return to Mexican football when he came off the bench during Chivas’ defeat away to León on Saturday.

“What a joy to play with a Chivas that has a purpose, that works on a game idea, that seeks to play football.

“It is time to have faith. I’ll fight to the death for this team and coaching staff.”

Chivas host Liga MX Clausura leaders Puebla on Saturday in a game in which Macías is expected to make his first start since his return from his loan spell in Spain.
