If Maurizio Sarri leaves Chelsea this summer, what will happen to Jorginho?

Sarri brought the Italian international midfielder with him from Napoli last summer and the pair enjoy a close relationship.

Despite finishing third in the Premier League and booking a spot in the Europa League final, Sarri’s Stamford Bridge future is in doubt and the 60-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to Italy in recent days.

But if the manager does leave, Jorginho won’t be following him on this occasion.

“Could Jorginho leave with Sarri? He has a contract and stays with Chelsea, 100%,” the player’s agent João Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“In Italy they cannot take it to certain figures,” he added.

Jorginho snubbed interest from Manchester City to join Chelsea in a deal worth a reported £50m last year and has made 53 appearances during his first season at the club, scoring two goals.
