Jorginho’s agent claims his client is worth €50m | OneFootball

Apart from the obvious super agents like Mino Raiola and Jorge Mendes, there aren’t many agents whose names we know.

Joao Santos is an exception. Jorginho’s agent speaks so regularly to the media that it’s impossible for us to forget who he is. We end up writing about his interviews more than his client’s.

This time he’s taken a worthy opportunity to boast about the midfielder’s success. Jorginho stepped up to send Italy to the Euros final with the last penalty last night.

Apparently within moments, Santos was on Radio Marte explaining how much the former Napoli man would cost a buyer:

“He won the Champions League and did very well. Now maybe on Sunday he can also win the European Championship. And maybe he can also enter the Ballon d’Or list.”

“Proposals for the boy? Today, Jorginho’s valuation is around €50m. If a team arrives… Obviously he has made it to many finals,” the agent chuntered in quotes picked up by SportWitness.

We’re delighted for Jorgi and wish him the best of luck in the rest of this tournament – but if he could just get his representative to stop putting him up for sale every two minutes, we would appreciate it even more.
