Jorge Sampaoli on Lens win: “It’s our most successful game of the season” | OneFootball

Speaking after Marseille’s impressive 2-0 away win at Lens last night, as quoted by RMC, OM coach Jorge Sampaoli described his team’s performance as their best of the season so far.

“I think it’s our most successful game of the season. We had to play at this level to get a result at Lens… We’re more comfortable away from home, emotionally too. At home, if we don’t score quickly the match can get complicated. We have to work to the same level at the Vélodrome that we have away from home, we owe it to our fans. I’ve felt this season that this team is very difficult to beat. This is the starting point for all our work.”
