Jorge Messi says he hopes son Lionel will return to Barcelona at some stage | OneFootball

As reported by Foot National, PSG forward Lionel Messi’s father and agent Jorge has stated he hopes son Leo will return to Barcelona at some point in the future.

Speaking to Jijantes in Spain, Jorge, who was seen in Barcelona before the weekend visiting his grandchildren, said: “I hope Leo can come back to Barcelona one day.”

Although Lionel has another season on his contract in Paris, with an option for one more afterward, after just six Ligue 1 goals in his first season so far, Messi’s future at PSG isn’t wholly certain with the transfer window on the horizon.

In March, following the club’s latest disastrous Champions League exit, L’Équipe reported that both Neymar and Messi could be sold under the right circumstances with MLS mentioned as a possible destination.
