Last season, Siebatcheu was the top goalscorer in the Swiss Super League with 22 goals to his name, taking his tally to 27 goals in 45 games across all competitions for Young Boys.

Union will pay a reported €6m fee that could rise to €10m via performance related bonuses. The American will sign a four-year contract until 2026.

Siebatcheu made a name for himself when he signed for Young Boys on loan in 2020 before making his move permanent from French side Rennes.

The forward played twice for France U21 before declaring for the United States. He’s scored one goal in nine appearances for the US.
