Jordan Pickford confirms plans over his Everton future | OneFootball

Jordan Pickford has reaffirmed his commitment to Everton amid growing speculation over his future.

The England international signed a new deal last season which commits his future to Sean Dyche’s side until June 2027.

But despite being linked with several Premier League clubs this summer, Pickford insists he is dedicated to staying with the Toffees.

“I’ve just signed a new contract and I’m happy and my family is happy so now we just want to move forward as a club,” Pickford told the Athletic.

“We lost a lot of games [last season] that we shouldn’t have ever lost, or we had chances where we should have taken points from more games.

“It was our own fault that we ended up in that position. But it does show the type of characters we are to get out of that situation.

“We need to knuckle down and work hard on the training pitch.”

Pickford has established himself as England’s first-choice goalkeeper since moving to Goodison Park from Sunderland in 2017.
