Birmingham City earned a much needed 2-1 win over Barnsley at the weekend to increase the gap between themselves and the relegation zone to 12 points.

The victory ended a six match winless run for the Blues, with Onel Hernandez and Scott Hogan’s finishes making the points safe before Victor Adeboyejo set up a grandstand finish in the 87th minute.

Emile Heskey?

Yes No

Ivan Sunjic replaced Jordan James in the second half on Saturday, but given his situation at the club this month, Bowyer may be better advised to continue to keep him on the fringes.

Bowyer has typically looked to maintain consistency of selection with a winning team, and having successfully changed formation at the weekend, it would be a surprise to see any kind of wholesale changes at St Andrew’s on Tuesday evening.
