Jordan Henderson is expected to start ahead of Jude Bellingham when England take on Wales in their final World Cup Group B fixture on Tuesday evening.
Henderson replaced Bellingham as a substitute during Friday’s 0-0 draw with the United States, and now the Daily Mail report that the Liverpool captain is set to be named in the starting line-up against Wales, with 19-year-old Bellingham dropping to the bench.
Bellingham impressed as he scored England’s opening goal in the 6-2 win over Iran last week, but in the crunch clash against Wales, it is believed Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate is likely to opt for experience over youth.
England could be eliminated from the tournament if they lose to Wales.
