JOINT STATEMENT ON THE SANCTIONS IMPOSED ON THE CLUB AND PLAYER

Olympique de Marseille and its player Mr. Pape Alassane Gueye have taken note of the decision rendered by the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber in the case opposing to Watford FC.

The Club and its player intend to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport so that their position and the absence of any reproaches that could have been wrongly attributed to them are recognized. Pending a final decision, a request for suspension of all sporting sanctions has been filed in order to preserve their interests.
