Neymar Jr and Marquinhos' Brazil were in action on Tuesday evening at the Parc des Princes, taking home the win in the friendly against Tunisia in convincing style (5-1).

You had to wind the clock back 24 years in order to see the Brazilian national side take to the pitch of the Parc des Princes. So on Tuesday evening against Tunisia, it was a friendly like no other for our Parisians Neymar Jr and Marquinhos, who both started the encounter.

In a lively atmosphere, our two Rouge et Bleu ambassadors put on a show in their home ground, where they remain unbeaten this season in Paris Saint-Germain colours. Four days after making light work of Ghana (3-0), the Seleçao once again impressed against another African side.

Against a Tunisia team who tried to be as compact as they were combative, the Brazilians never doubted their own ability. They could have done, however, when after Raphinha's opener (1-0, 11'), Talbi managed to score an equaliser from a free-kick (1-1, 16'). But it just served to strengthen their determination and desire to shine in the City of Light. And it was just three minutes later that Richarlison ensured his side were back in the lead (2-1, 19').

It was then Neymar Jr's opportunity to enjoy himself on his home turf, when he made no mistake from the penalty spot (3-1, 29'). As a reminder, the Paris Saint-Germain n°10 had picked up two assists against Ghana.

With Brazil on their way, a second goal from Raphinha (4-1, 40') and the sending off of Bronn just before the break (42') put the game to bed for the Eagles of Carthage. Down to ten men in the second half, the Tunisians were eventually broken down, and Pedro scored the final goal of the evening (5-1, 74').

In this final friendly ahead of Qatar, Brazil took their unbeaten run to 16 matches. Enough to confirm their status as one of the big favourites for the upcoming World Cup.
