On Tuesday, Joe Hart said a final farewell to Manchester City after leaving to join Burnley in a £3.5m deal.

Hart joined City from Shrewsbury Town for just £600k in 2006 and went on to make 348 appearances for the club, winning two Premier League titles, two League Cups and the FA Cup.

The goalkeeper made his debut in a match against Sheffield United October 2006 but after going out on loan to Tranmere Rovers, Blackpool and Birmingham City, he finally made the number one jersey his own thanks to an incredible performance away at Tottenham Hotspur on the opening day of the 2010/11 season.

Other memorable displays came in a 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in 2012/13, a tremendous save against Everton towards the end of the 2013/14 season, and a performance against Barcelona at Camp Nou which Lionel Messi later described as ‘phenomenal’.

Pep Guardiola’s arrival at the Etihad Stadium sparked the beginning of the end of Hart’s City career and after season-long loan spells at Torino and West Ham United, he has now left permanently, signing a two-year deal with the Clarets.

And on the day of his departure, the former England goalkeeper gave one final interview to CityTV in which he reflected on his best moments and said goodbye to the fans who supported him during his 12 years at the club.

No YOU’RE crying.
