Inter are considering moving for an attacker during the January transfer window as they wait on developments for the injured Joaquin Correa.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the club could dip into the market in January to reinforce their attacking options with the Argentine currently out injured.

Correa has been confirmed to have suffered a strain to the flexor muscles in his left thigh during the Nerazzurri’s clash with Roma over the weekend.

It remains to be seen how much time the 27-year-old will miss with the problem, though he has also dealt with other injury problems this campaign.

Meanwhile, all of Edin Dzeko, Lautaro Martinez, and Alexis Sanchez have also had injury problems of their own over the course of the season which have rendered them unavailable.

If the Nerazzurri feel that the attacking options currently available to Simone Inzaghi are not reliable enough in light of Correa’s current injury, then they are considering bringing in an attacker next month.
