João Félix made his LaLiga debut for Atlético Madrid on Sunday night, and he brought his dancing shoes with him.

After joining from Benfica in a deal worth a reported €126m this summer, the 19-year-old was named in the starting XI as Atleti took on Getafe at the Wanda Metropolitano.

And in the second half, he had the stadium on its feet with an amazing nutmeg and run which ended with him being brought down in the box for a penalty.

Unfortunately, having opened the scoring from a Kieran Trippier assist earlier in the game, Álvaro Morata missed the resulting spot-kick.

But Twitter was too busy drooling over the boy FĂ©lix to notice 


The Portuguese playmaker was substituted with a slight knock after 66 minutes, but we’re going to be talking about him an awful lot in the months and years to come.
