The Villans are fourth in the points table with 67 points. Their only threat is Tottenham Hotspur, who can climb a position if certain results come in their favour. Defence

Clement Lenglet could walk into the XI in place of Diego Carlos to link up with Pau Torres at the heart of the defence. Lucas Digne is likely to continue his work as the left full-back.

Midfield

While Leon Bailey will be deployed on the left flank, Moussa Diaby is in line to be deployed on the other side. The duo of John McGinn and Douglas Luiz are expected to once again take onto the field. They will be crucial to control the game in the middle of the park.

Jhon Duran should good display after coming off the bench. He is likely to play in the attacking midfield and will be a key member in scoring goals.

Ollie Watkins remains the leader of the offensive pack. He will be desperate to find the back to the net as he is just a goal away from becoming the first-ever Aston Villa player to score 20 Premier League goals in a season.

Emiliano Buendia (knee), Tyrone Mings (knee), Boubacar Kamara (knee), Morgan Rogers (hamstring), and Jacob Ramsey (ankle) are confirmed miss. Youri Tielemans (groin), Alex Moreno (unspecified) and Nicolo Zaniolo (unspecified) will be assessed before the game.
