Jhon Córdoba (FC Köln) in negotiations with other clubs

FC Köln head coach Markus Gisdol has confirmed that 27-year-old striker Jhon Córdoba has asked not to start their DFB Pokal fixture on Saturday as the Colombian is in negotiations with other clubs.

“Jhon approached us and asked not to start because he was in negotiations with other clubs,” Gisdol told Sky Germany.

Córdoba has just one-year remaining on his contract at FC Köln and with both parties yet to reach an agreement on a new contract, he could depart the Bundesliga club.
