After impressing at left-back during Mexico’s World Cup campaign, Jesús Gallardo is being tracked by a number of teams in Germany.
Gallardo’s Mexico team-mates Marco Fabián and Carlos Salcedo both play in the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt. ESPN believes a transfer inquiry could be forthcoming.
The left-sided player recently transferred from his boyhood club Pumas UNAM to Monterrey but has not yet suited up for Rayados. If Monterrey does sell the player to a German team, the club will make a pretty profit for the quick turnover.
Generally a left-midfielder for his club side, Gallardo has experience playing in defence and started at left-back in all four of Mexico’s matches in Russia.
