Gabriel Jesus has praised the performance of his teammates after his crucial goal inspired City to a 1-0 Premier League victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian's 53rd minute deflected strike earned Pep Guardiola's men all three points in a dominant display in London.The City number nine operated on the right flank for a majority of the encounter and could have had a brace, only to be denied on the goal-line by compatriot Thiago Silva shortly after his opener.

We played very well and won the game."I play like a striker. I can never turn properly with the way they play but I turned good and I took the shot. "It was a little lucky but I’m very happy to score the goal and most important is that we won the game and everyone played so good!"
