🎥 Jérôme Boateng releases comedy World Cup song

Jérôme Boateng has formed an unlikely alliance with British comedian Jack Whitehall for Germany’s unofficial World Cup song.

As part of Whitehall’s YouTube show Training Days, the Bayern Munich man raps in English on a track called ‘Mannschaft’, in which he proclaims: “In 2018 we’re about to win another cup.”

As well as the ‘Notorious JB’, the video for the comedy song features an appearance from Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Götze, who won’t be going to this summer’s tournament in Russia after he was omitted from Germany’s 23-man squad.

Real Madrid defender Sergio ‘SR4’ Ramos recently released a World Cup rap song of his own, although the Spaniard seemed to be taking the matter far more seriously than Boateng and co.
